Independent providers and service responsibility

My Home Service Providers helps customers discover independent businesses. Customers and providers agree directly on prices, scope, schedules, payments and cancellations. Providers are responsible for their work, attendance, workmanship, warranties, job refunds and damage caused by their services. We do not perform or supervise their work, process job payments, or guarantee a provider’s performance. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for a provider’s cancellations, failure to attend, defective work or breach of their agreement with a customer. This does not exclude responsibility for our own conduct or rights that cannot legally be waived.

Before hiring a provider

Confirm the scope, price, schedule, cancellation terms and any required licenses or insurance directly with the provider before hiring or paying. Report profile or platform concerns through Help & Assistance.
